Originally from Lockerbie, I’m a specialist in Brand Development, PR/Marketing and Partnership with over two decades of accomplishment in an international career that spans Travel, Tourism & Hospitality, Premium Spirits, Luxury Automotive and Fashion & Textiles.
I’m the former Fashion and Lifestyle Editor of the Sunday Herald magazine and also held rank as a Director at The London College of Fashion. I spent eight years as Brand Manager of Johnstons of Elgin.
On returning to Dumfries and Galloway eight years ago, I was immediately enticed by the region’s growing tourism offer, initially in the role of Visitor Experience Manager, Annandale Distillery and Visitor Centre.
Results driven, with an excellent network of contacts, I have most recently been consulting for premium outdoor apparel brands, regional visitor attractions, food & drink.
In my spare time, you’ll find me in my campervan enjoying the SWC300 and fully immersed in the superb, scenic camping experiences the South of Scotland has to offer! A keen photographer, I especially enjoy capturing fiery Scottish sunsets and sunrises and adore stargazing in the Galloway Dark Sky Park.
