Suzanne Ezzi
I’m thrilled to be joining the team at SSDA as Membership Services Manager. I have 15 years of experience working in business development and events management within the tourism and hospitality sectors. After graduating from Napier University where I studied Business Studies and French, I spent my gap year in Canada. This kickstarted my career in hospitality, working at the Fairmont Banff Springs hotel in Alberta. Following this, I spent several years working in hotel sales and the events sector throughout Scotland and returned to Canada, this time to Vancouver, BC working for the Fairmont hotel group for five years.
Since moving back home to Scotland in 2014, I’ve enjoyed working in client interfacing roles at venues and hotels, and in more recent years, working in marketing and membership development roles where I was responsible for growing membership and reaching new audiences throughout Scotland, Ireland and Northern Ireland.
It feels like a really special time to be joining the SSDA with lots of exciting developments in the pipeline for 2022. I’m looking forward to helping to spread the word about the South of Scotland as a top tourism destination, working collaboratively and building relationships with our members and partners for the years ahead.
