Survey – single night non-serviced accommodation

Visitors undertaking long-distance walking and cycling trails often need single night accommodation as they move to a different location each night as they make their way along the route. This is fine when there is sufficient serviced accommodation (hotels, B&Bs and guest houses) where visitors want to stop.

If, however, there is only non-serviced accommodation providers such as self-catering cottages, Airbnb, glamping, pods etc. then booking for single nights may not be as easy as there are often fewer providers accepting single nights as more turnaround/cleaning time is usually required for these types of properties.

As part of the development of the visitor experience along the River Tweed Trail we are keen to audit what the non-serviced single night accommodation provision is on the route.

If you are a non-serviced accommodation provider along the route (see map above), please take a couple of minutes to complete this short survey.  This will help identify if there are any gaps in provision along the route.
