Galloway Country Fair returns on 12th & 13th August

The award-winning Galloway Country Fair returns this summer to Drumlanrig Castle and Country Estate on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th August 2023.
The annual two-day event will, once again, take place in the picturesque surroundings of the Estate and celebrates all aspects of rural life. Showcasing the best of country pursuits, local craftsmanship, artisan food and drink as well as show-stopping entertainment, it’s a not-to-be-missed weekend for all the family.
Anna Fergusson, Drumlanrig’s Estate Director, said: “It was great to have such an excellent turn out at last year’s event and we can’t wait to build on that this year. From four-legged friends to falconry, fast-moving main ring entertainment and an exciting array of free activities in the children’s zone, it’s a brilliant day out for all ages.
“On top of that we are joining forces with Defender Jam once again, a Land Rover lovers’ event, bringing a different element to the Fair. And our first-class traders will be showcasing everything from crafts, home furnishings and clothing, to the very best of local food and drink, including live demos. Visitors will be spoiled for choice.

Galloway Country Fair takes place on Saturday 12 August (10am-6pm) and Sunday, 13 August (10am-5pm). Full price tickets cost £15 adults, £10 concessions, £5 children (aged 6-16), free entry for children 5 and under, £35 family (2 adults +3 children). Early bird tickets, with savings of 15%, are available now until the end of June at www.gallowaycountryfair.co.uk
If you want to make the most of the event – why not incorporate it into a short break?
